Memorial Medallions

Two Choices for Picture Submittal

You may use a traditional photograph or a digital photograph of your loved one to create your medallion.

 

• Traditional Photograph Instructions

The ideal picture is a clear, close, in-focus head shot, where the area containing the head and upper torso is at least 3" x 3" in size.

 

You must scan a traditional photograph to obtain an electronic image. The image file created must be a very high quality JPG file. The minimum resolution of the scanned photograph must be 300 dots per inch. The maximum file size is 2000KB.

 

If you do not have access to a scanner, please visit your local office center where image scanning service is available.

 

• Digital Photograph Instructions

The ideal picture is a clear, close, in-focus head shot, where the area containing the head and upper torso is at least 3" x 3" in size. The picture must have been taken with a digital camera that has a minimum resolution of 5 megapixels.

 

The digital camera image file must be a very high quality JPG file. The maximum file size is 2000KB.

The memorial medallion front is typically a casting based on a good quality picture submitted by the customer. This is a sample of the standard oval shaped medallion. Click on the picture to see an enlarged view.

The memorial medallion back is usually filled with a word tribute that could include dates born and died, nickname, favorite short verse, a memorable quote, or a description of whatever you decide would be a good way to remember your loved one. Click on the picture to see an enlarged view.
